Welcome to Taxi Passau! By accessing or using our mobile application ("Taxi Passau") and its associated services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of the App, including all features and services offered. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Taxi Passau app, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. We may update these terms from time to time, and any such updates will be posted in the app or on our website. Continued use of the app after such changes are made will signify your acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Eligibility
To use the Taxi Passau app, you must be at least 18 years of age or have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3. Services Provided
Taxi Passau offers a platform that connects passengers with available taxi drivers for transportation services. Through the app, you can:
- Request rides from nearby drivers.
- Track the status of your ride in real-time.
- Make payments for your ride through the app.
- Rate and review your driver after the completion of your ride.
Please note that Taxi Passau is a booking platform and not a taxi service provider. The actual transportation services are provided by independent drivers or transportation companies, and Taxi Passau is not responsible for the quality or safety of these services.
In-App-Zahlung und Kartengarantie
Bei entsprechend gekennzeichneten Buchungen kann der Kunde eine Zahlungsmethode über Stripe hinterlegen. Die Kartendaten werden ausschließlich von Stripe verarbeitet und gespeichert; Taxi Passau speichert weder die vollständige Kartennummer noch den Kartenprüfwert (CVC).
Vor dem Hinterlegen wird dem Kunden der Höchstbetrag der Kartengarantie angezeigt. Mit seiner ausdrücklichen Zustimmung erlaubt der Kunde Stripe, die Zahlungsmethode für diese Buchung zu speichern. Taxi Passau oder das vermittelte Taxiunternehmen darf die Zahlungsmethode ohne erneute Anwesenheit des Kunden ausschließlich im Rahmen dieser Buchung verwenden, insbesondere zur Reservierung des angezeigten Garantiebetrags und – nach dokumentierter Leerfahrt bzw. Nichterscheinen des Kunden – zur Belastung bis höchstens zum zuvor angezeigten Betrag. Eine Belastung aus anderen Gründen ist nicht gestattet.
Eine Reservierung wird nach ordnungsgemäß durchgeführter oder rechtzeitig stornierter Fahrt freigegeben. Über eine Belastung erhält der Kunde einen Zahlungsnachweis und kann Einwendungen über die angegebenen Kontaktwege vorbringen. Das Entfernen einer gespeicherten Zahlungsmethode wirkt für künftige Buchungen; bereits wirksam vereinbarte Garantien und gesetzliche Ansprüche bleiben unberührt.
In-app payment and card guarantee
For eligible bookings, the customer may save a payment method with Stripe. Card details are processed and stored only by Stripe; Taxi Passau does not store the full card number or CVC. Before saving, the maximum guarantee amount is shown. With explicit agreement, the payment method may be used off-session only for that booking, including a documented customer no-show/empty trip, and never above the amount shown. A receipt is provided for any charge and the customer may raise an objection through the published contact channels.
